The P-6 not only perfectly complements Roland‘s Compact series, but also offers an incredible number of functions in a small space. The small box enables direct, intuitive sampling and easy post-processing using the small controls. In combination with the chopping and granular engine, the sequencer and the automation options as well as the performance effects, interesting patterns can be created quickly and easily, especially since the samples can also be played polyphonically.

But it doesn‘t stop there, because under the hood the P-6 offers an astonishingly extensive range of detailed editing and plenty of scope for experimentation. At this point at the latest it gets quite fiddly due to the small controls and the rudimentary display, but using the additional functions is also optional.
